Barry Tidwell is the creative force and founding visionary behind Dreamhawk Entertainment. With a career that began as a professional dancer for Walt Disney Parks, Barry’s passion for performance quickly evolved into a lifelong pursuit of producing and storytelling through immersive, multidimensional entertainment.
His transition from the stage to behind the scenes led him to Las Vegas, where he served as an Event Producer and Entertainment Manager at Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino—developing high-impact productions for live audiences from around the world. In 2007, he launched Dreamhawk Productions, producing custom entertainment showcases for corporate and special events, which would eventually evolve into Dreamhawk Entertainment—a global brand known for its innovative approach to live show touring and branded spectaculars.
Barry’s creative portfolio spans continents and industries. He has developed entertainment experiences for major cruise lines including Norwegian Cruise Line and Virgin Voyages, blending high-concept storytelling with immersive technology to redefine onboard entertainment. His storytelling ambitions also led to the creation of Dreamlion Studios, a sister company focused on original content for books, film, and television. As a three-time award-winning screenwriter, Barry continues to push creative boundaries while nurturing new platforms for original storytelling that crosses genres and formats.
With roots in both the magic of Disney and the spectacle of Las Vegas, Barry brings a rare duality—able to conceive concepts ranging from big-hearted, family-friendly productions to more sophisticated, story-rich experiences for mature audiences. His creative versatility allows him to conjure wonder in any setting, whether through joyful whimsy or elevated theatricality.
